Gears of War 2
Epic Games, Inc have announced the release of the sequel to Gears of War for 11/7/2008.
Gears of War is one of the most popular games in history on Xbox 360. Third person shooter all action and adrenaline rushing missions is back this year with war hero Marcus Fenix. Im sorry, but i think GoW 2 has the worst campaign and horrible dialogue, A giant worm, come on, how lame can they get. And the online is horrible and i dont
know many people who take it competive because its crazy constant respawn deathmatch, no skill required just spray and pray, not strategic at all compared to others.

I've only played it co-op but I thought it was awesome. I love how over the top it is. Yeah the story line can be kinda hammed up and the whole Doms wife bit was annoying but c'mon. Chainsaw guns, men that make arnold schwazenegger look like a wuss, the guy with no name ALWAYS gets killed, explosions, aliens, bad puns. The list goes on as to why I love it.
Havent played multiplayer on the second one, got my arse handed to me on the first so didnt really bother with the second. Great game overall tho IMO.

Well theres a lot of games with better combat but have a good story too, so i just think its stupid

I liked the combat system, the duck and cover thing looks good and works well, it can be fiddly at times but overall I'd say its done well. Games like Call of Duty and the other more 'serious' shooters can often have better combat but to be honest if I wanted to piss around letting burst fire off and constantly fearing for the 3 bullets that will kill me I'd go join the real army. =)

Well, Halo for example has a good story, makes more since with u be invincible and has a good story, or if u like the combat, play Vegas 2, has a crappy story but amazing combat customization. Online T-hunt is really fun 2. Gears 2 is ok, just is horrible in comparison to real games. Or u could play an almost identical game like Resistance but resistance actually has a somewhat good story and better graphix(then again its on the PS3). Oh yea, and all these games u dont die in 3 shots and arent repetitive like gears.
