Rumor: “Brand new” Rockstar IP “may never see light of day”

I doubt this is the PS3 exclusive because Sony wouldn't just let them out of that deal.. Rockstar is a very busy company, I can't imagine them wasting resources on something that might not be released. Considering GTA IV, Midnight Club, and the upcoming Max Payne title.. I just don't see it.

The comments come after EGM published a rumour yesterday that the GTA developer is working on a new PS3 game, as well as putting together a third Max Payne.
Our source couldn’t confirm whether or not the new IP was a PS3 exclusive.
Rockstar North is also working on DLC for GTA IV at the moment, the release date of which is still to be confirmed.
