I've posted this thread because i wanted to actually disscuss what type of crimes there is in the game.

I have seen some info spread out through the forum but i thought it would be better to have it all in one place.

The only crime I KNOW that you can do is to steal cars to chopshops.

But i hope some of you can fill in this thread cause i would really want to know what kind of crimes you know exist and crimes you would want to see in the game ^^

Personally i would like "random muggings", which basiclly would be that you could go up to random npc and rob him/her.

Graffiti, vandalism, street racing, breaking and entering/theft.... possibly arson.

I'd like to see even a bounty system, if it isn't in already. Which would be only collectible by a member from the opposite faction.
So if criminals set a bounty on mistercopper, then he wouldn't be able to get team killed for the cash (the eve syndrome, where in eve people just get their friends to kill them and split the money for a profit)

It'll make hunting down people more interesting.
Also I'd like to see very small crimes, like bashing open a parking meter (if there are any in the game) for some small change. Or just beating up a random pedestrian for a wallet (if there are any random pedestrians in the game).
A more complex system would be required for hostage situations, though that would be the ultimate badass crime system ever.

I'd like to be able to set up some SERIOUS elaborate capers. I'm talking movie styled bank heists, assassinations of major figures (be they NPCs or other users) or other such things. Events that encompass a major undertaking, and can involve a number of users friend and/or foe alike. I'm all for the petty crime stuff, it can be fun. But I really do hope you can do some epic scale stuff as well.

Well I heard talk on one of the videos about bank heists so maybe you're in luck :P, I'm not sure about assassinations though, haven't heard much on that aspect but I think it would be good to have.

EDIT: I also just heard a video talking about enforcers being bounty hunters, not quite sure what the criminals can do opposed to this but yeah.

Purely speculation, but I would assume the criminal end of it would be along the lines of my assassin hopes. Seeing as an assassin would be the equivalent of a bounty hunter. Taking on jobs to "thin the herd" of rival gangs or whacking a particularly annoying enforcer, same way a bounty hunter will obviously be focused on collaring a specific criminal in a given mission, as opposed to taking down an entire crew. But we'll have to wait and see.

I'd want as said earlier smaller scale crimes. But then also one thing I'd love would be to hit the enforcers for once, for example doing a driveby at their station or something like it.
Mainly I just hope that the ammount of crimes wont be limmited down and one being more effective then others, I'd hate farming the same objective for hours to gain cash.
