The game is PC exclusive. They aren't developing it for any console until they see how well it does on PC after launch, then depending on that may or may not be porting/redoing it for consoles.

As for social zones mentioned way above: normal zones hold 100 people max. Social zones hold 300+ and include, at least, an auction house, shops to buy guns and stuff, two clubs - one for criminals and one for enforcers (can't enter the other sides one).

I'm hoping theres a third club too, which is a mixed one. ^^

Well if does port over to the Xbox - I'm not going to pay a monthly fee with Xbox Live. That's just a punch to the gut

well, it being an MMO, they most likely in a may may have same sort of subscription fee to have the motivation to keep it updated and add more to it. Abd there are subscription fees 4 console games.

I'd like a Guild wars style of payment. APB does not cater to the Subscription audience, but paying for the disk, and then paying for a new update would be a good way to go.

I agree.. Personally this title is the first I'd probably support microtransactions over DLC. The way I look at it DLC has become defined as larger content packages.. ex. levels, weapon packs, or a combination of them. When considering the unbelieveable amounts of customization capable in APB I don't see it working any other way then microtransitions.

I imagine being able to choose individual content at a fair price and I'm looking forward to that if in the cards.

I think paying for DLC could be a good way to go but at the same time I kinda hope they have it as whole expansions not just buying individual items of clothing. Anyone who has a 360 I'm sure has seen the extortionate prices they charge for individual things for avatars on marketplace now. I'd hate to have to pay in bits for specific stuff I wanted then, I'd rather just pay a chunk and get everything new they had developed. I'm more likely to play it on PC but I hope for the sake of console owners that its a fair and balanced system of payment whatever the platform.

I agree, i hope if they do do this, they put in bundles, and make it so that u can also still play with those who dont have the dlc. Like if it has no clothes or whatever or more weapons just make it so that they get the content in an update but cant use it unless they buy it. This would only work though if the new stuff doesnt overpower the old.

They could conceivably have aesthetic DLC (new clothing options etc) that are optional and those with them could play against those without and then every year or so have a major DLC overhaul which would be required for everyone that could provide new weapons, skills and missions.
