Mafia organized ropeplaying clan, interested?

When APB comes out this summer, I was thinking of finding a few like minded people to start a mafia centered clan. But I don't nessessarily mean roleplayin in the traditional sense, but more along the lines of how you progress your character, and conduct ourselves in the gang. Does that make sense?



Right now we dont know all of the little extra features, but would anyone be interested in this? Here are a few of my ideas, and they are only ideas based on what we know and maybe a little speculation.



- Have in gang ranking system that follows mafia lore. I.E. Boss, underboss, captians, soldiers, associates. etc etc.

- Overall dress geared towards suits/high class clothes. We want to be different than the average thug gangs running around. This town needs a better class of criminals and we will give it to them.

- Though our "family" or gang wont have strict guidlines on how you should play, we are looking for like minded people that want to focus on more of an organized play-style. We want to be good at what we do, and want to make a lot of money. When possible we want to be able to get a group of whoever is on at the time and be able to pull off the high end game heists, crimes, etc with a very good success rate.

- Able to be promoted through the ranks of the Family based on your skill, success, and earning ability.

- Through dedication, loyality, etc be able to become a Made man in the Family. (though the game isn't out wont be able to decide what perks might come with that until release)



My idea of the ranking system.

Now this is my idea of how it will work. When you join you will become an Associate/Recruit. You wont be an associate very long, its just basically a short trial peroid to make sure you like the guild, fit our playstyle, etc etc. Everything will be based on a 5man scale. Once you are officially in the Family you will be assigned a crew member. Every captain will have 5 crew members under them. If we end up having 8 crew members and only 1 captain, that means someone will be promoted to captain to have their own "crew" so to speak. And if there is eventually more than 5 captains, Then one of the captains will be promoted to Boss and the family will expand like that. So as people come/go there is always room for promotion within the family. I also want to stress that just because you are "assigned" as a crew member under a certain captian you are NOT required in any way to have to group with them at all times they are online. There wont be strict guidlines to it, as you can group with whomever you want, even somone not in the Family/gang or whatever. But its there to help promote grouped playstyes, a little backgroup RP, and for higher ups to help new members when possible. Basically want you to be able to feel like your apart of something big, and not only gain fame through the game buy also our guild.



I also have a few more ideas based on whether or not we have player owned headquarters, stuff on money, guns etc. But since the game isnt out and the NDA isnt lifted hard to go any farther than that.

Bascially wanting to know if anyone would be interested in forming a clan like this when the game goes live.



EDIT - I also want to stress that its a good idea to have Alt characters. This way everytime you are logged on you dont feel like everything you do has to be for "The family". That way if you just want to F*** sh*t up, drive around do your own thing, play as an enforcer you can just log on an alt and play.

Even if it is just an idea, it belongs elsewhere.

i don;t know my furtue but i do plan on getting this around the time it comes out if god blesses me and a school works out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Alot of good ideas about your gang and wish you all the best of luck just remember to think twice before you mug that old lady or try and steal a car because the SPSD will be there to keep you in-line.

i don't think mafia people are that petty. you just keep to you little precient officer, besides, if we have to grease your palms to handle or business. MUMS the word ok?
