Gang territories - Unofficial APB Game Forum

Make territories for gangs to fight for. The gang in control of the area can put up things that show that the gang has control of it with things like graffiti and custom made symbols for the gang.

It would be cool and would give gangs a nice goal to strive for.

Two things i said HELL NO for,
1, were criminals and we fight against Enforcers, thats enough.
2, if u have a small gang like mine, small gangs will get no where in controlling places.

Gang terr would enhance the pvp factor of the game, the game needs to to build around pvp to stay successful because no one wants a mind less grind of the same ole stuff you can get from the generic mainstream MMO.

They could also participate in these wars. Maybe try to maintain the territory under control. You know, make them loose their territory.

There could be ways to balance that out. For example if you have 8 members in your gang and they have 12 in their gang. Only 8 of their gang members would fight for control of the territory.

Overall I think this is a good idea, turf wars have always been awesome.

yeh a must have i think you should get something for controling a street like in charge of drug deals ,prostitution, gun running , gambling and so on

Territory control could also be a good incentive for aggresive gang expansion (all I can think of is the Joker from dark knight with his pool cue try-outs).

And if you want a small gang then you're gonna have to cut unsteady truces with your neighbours and be prepared for them to stab you in the back.

Could possibly also balance the crim/enforcer populations, don't want to worry about treachery? Be and enforcer, same head busting/ass kicking, less in-fighting. I persoanlly prefer a healthy dose of in-fighting and agree that there is no honor among thieves.
